Emerging from the round table discussions with faculty in the fall of 2015 and
grounded in Waterloo’s involvement in the UN Women’s HeForShe IMPACT
10x10x10, we are pleased to offer a panel discussion on academic university
governance.

The panelists include:
  • Karen Jack, Secretariat
  • Shannon Dea, Vice President; Director (at-large)
  • Sandra Banks, Vice-President, University Relations
  • Bill Baer, President of Staff Association
Each panelist will speak to aspects of governance and leadership within an academic university setting and will provide valuable information on the governance framework under which universities function. The panel discussion
is open to all students, staff and faculty.

The event begins promptly at 1:30pm
