Event Details

For the past twelve years, the Honourable Mike Lake, Member of Parliament for Edmonton-Wetaskiwin has travelled around the world to speak with world leaders and influencers about the unique social barriers for those with autism.  He’s spoken to spouses of world leaders at the UN in New York City;  traveled to London, Paris, Geneva and Washington to speak with fellow elected officials from across the political spectrum; and addressed global leaders at the WHO and in the international research community.

MP Lake's work is centred around his son Jaden, who has autism and speaks to Jaden's inspiring story as a way to change the way we thinking about those around us - their abilities, their challenges and the unique contributions that they can make to the great benefit of all of us.

Please join us for this special guest lecture and we look forward to seeing you there.
