Our celestial neighbours are showing out this February, so visit the Observatory to see what all the fuss is about!

This event is hosted jointly by the Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics (WCA) and the Gustav Bakos Observatory. Stay afterwards to visit a special planet parade exhibit in the neighbouring Earth Science Museum created by the WCA.

Note: the telescope observing portion is only possible if the skies are mainly clear (if it's too cloudy to see stars or the bright planets with the unaided eye, then we won't be able to see them through the telescope either). In such circumstances, we are usually still able to offer a tour of the facilities, as well as the exhibit in the museum.
